Applications for EMS Officer Certification must be submitted online HERE

In order to apply, the following documents or information should be immediately available:

  • National Registry of EMTs Certification Info (if applicable)
  • State Licensing Info / Certificate
  • Resume and/or verification of experience letter
  • Documentation of 120 hours of qualifying education
  • Professional Reference Letters
  • Publication / Presentation / Research Paper (Fellow level only)
  • Method of Payment

If you are looking sit for a particular examination please submit your application no less than 60 days prior to that examination date. Applications are reviewed by volunteer commissioners and may take up to 15 days to review. Additional information may be requested by reviewers to ensure requirements are met. You will receive automated emails when your application changes status. You may also check the status of your application ONLINE at any time.
